About Me
Hi, I’m Amalina – a PACFA Clinical Counsellor and ACA Level 3 registered counsellor with over a decade of experience, and the heart behind Amayah Gentle Space.
I’ve supported individuals across diverse cultures, identities, and life paths — from adolescents and young adults navigating pivotal transitions to adults seeking deeper clarity and healing. While I have worked extensively with youth in the past, my current practice is focused on supporting adults and young adults as they explore their inner worlds and cultivate a more authentic connection with themselves.
I offer therapy that is compassionate, intuitive, and grounded in the belief that healing unfolds when we feel truly seen. My work is shaped by a deep appreciation for person-centered care, psychodynamic understanding, and the symbolic richness of analytical psychology and Jungian ideas — valuing the deeper layers of meaning, personal growth, and the journey toward wholeness.
I believe in meeting you where you are, without judgment or haste.
Our work together is collaborative, compassionate, and guided by what matters most to you.
My Approach
Healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken.
It’s about remembering who you are and gently coming home to yourself.
Therapy with me is not a quick-fix formula — it’s a respectful unfolding. A conversation. A shared journey.
I draw from several therapeutic modalities, including:
Person-Centred Therapy, which honours your voice, values, and agency
Psychodynamic Therapy, which explores patterns, relationships, and how the past shapes the present
Rational-Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), which supports new ways of thinking and responding
Analytical Psychology, offering a symbolic lens to explore unconscious dynamics, dreams, and inner imagery
My style is warm, attuned, and collaborative. I hold space gently but firmly — with deep respect for your pace, your story, and your autonomy.
